Beijing Institute of Electro-machining (BIEM） and its subsidiary Beijing Dimon CNC Technology Co., Ltd(DMNC-EDM) are high-tech enterprises integrate with scientific research, development and production. Since foundation in 1978, we've been continuously dedicating in developing and applications of electrical discharging machining (EDM) technology, especially in the area of high-performance CNC sinker EDM machines.

BIEM is one of the most important research institutes in Beijing, Now BIEM has six joint-stock companies, three major industrial bases, Beijing Precision Special Processing Technology Research Center, Beijing Key Laboratory of Precision Special Processing Technology, Beijing Super hard Material Processing Technology Research Laboratory, Beijing Micro-Nano Special Processing High Technology Experiment Room, postdoctoral workstation.

Since the establishment of the institute for more than 40 years, people in BIEM have always been trained with "dedication to serve the country" and "magical sparks" as life-long pursuit, to pursue and surpass the limitation of CNC EDM.
